A healthy relationship involves two people who love and understand each other. A toxic relationship is where one partner feels unloved after doing everything to love their partner and they feel as though they are not good enough.
If you are in a relationship with someone who loves you but you find out that you don’t love the person for some reason, you have to be careful so you don’t end up hurting them or yourself. You shouldn’t be with someone out of pity. It’s important to face the reality and stop wasting their time.
Here is a list of four things to do if you don’t love someone who loves you
1. Make them understand why it is dangerous for both of you to be together. It won’t be a good thing if you are cheating on them or if you are not committed to the relationship. Your happiness and peace of mind is very important. So if you decide to marry them to make them happy. This will affect you in the long run.
2. Set a time and place where you can talk to them about how you feel. Let them know you cannot marry them. You have to do this lovingly so that you don’t hurt their feelings. Explain to them how you don’t feel connected to them and that if both of you should get married, the marriage will not last.
3. Never treat them with contempt because you don’t feel the same way they feel about you. Let them know that you appreciate them and that they are a wonderful person to be with, but your feelings are not just compatible. Assure them that they will find a partner that truly deserves their love
4. Don’t use their feelings for you as an opportunity to exploit them. Remember that you can also love someone and the person might not love you in return. Try to understand that this person needs true love and if you can’t offer this to them, it’s better to let them go. Never do or say anything to take advantage of them.
