Three things to do when your crush doesn’t show interest

At some point in your life, you might have had a crush on someone. Having a crush doesn’t mean you are cheap and it doesn’t make you less of who you are. When you have a crush on someone, it means you admire the person so much that you wish you can be around them at every chance you get. Sometimes you may feel like your crush is avoiding you without any reason while you already fantasize about spending time with them. You think about them often and you can’t just let go of the fact that they are not showing interest. If you are in such a situation, here are some tips to guide you.

1. You need to stop striving to get their attention because it tends to make you less appealing to them. Just be yourself whenever you leave crush is around and don’t try to force a relationship with them. When you try to force things, you can become desperate and even the crush feeling can lead to obsession. If you have shown the signs that you admire them and they act uninterested, it’s better to walk away.

2. Establishing a healthy communication with your crush might seem hard to do. You might be shy and might also be a cared of them rejecting you. But once you are able to communicate with them, emotional intimacy can be created afterwards. You should know that not everyone is approachable so you need to observe your crush carefully before making the move to talk to them.

3. You can’t attract your crush until you play an important role in their life. You would need to find a way to do something they will remember you for. This might cause your crush to start developing some feelings for you.

You can only have a beautiful and meaningful relationship with your crush when they feel emotionally connected to you. Otherwise, you might just be building castles in the air.
