Barely a week after the love island season 2 couple Jarette and Iyanna announced their separation, the only standing couple Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson have decided to call quits on their marriage and are currently proceeding with a divorce.
Danielle Ruhl/Nick Thompson and Iyanna McNeely/Jarette Jones were the only two couples to get married in Season 2 of the show, which revolves around contestants getting engaged without seeing each other before dating and saying “I do” over the course of a few months.
Nick Thompson had not posted much on his social media feed in recent weeks, although he back in June 8 of 2022, he did post a throwback picture of him and Danielle to mark their wedding anniversary.
He captioned it
“While it’s tough getting married under those circumstances, here we are a year later putting in the work to get to know each other and learn how to be partners for one another. All in real time,”. “I’m proud of us.”
It’s so sad that barely two months after such a lovely message, the duo are going their seperate ways. We hope that they are able to resolve all of their issues amicably and retain some form of friendship with each other.
