How Did They Meet?
Dami met Paul on the 4th of December 2020 when she went to his sister’s wedding, Debby, at Abeokuta. It was a very funny first encounter because when she was introduced to him, the zip of her trouser was already down and she was sucking on the bone of the fish she ate.
At the time they met, Dami was not open to a relationship because she was after someone else. After Debby’s wedding, she got a call that Paul wanted to thank all his sister’s friends for coming. She had no idea that he was interested in her because he was good to her and all her friends on the day of the wedding. When she started to suspect that he was interested in her was when he asked for her number through his sister and that was when their love story began….
A Surprise Rooftop Engagement
Of course, they started dating after they felt the sparks between them. The duo got engaged on the 28th of August 2021 at Conference Hotel in Abeokuta on the rooftop. Dami was on an all-girls weekend outing with her friends, including Debby. She had called Paul earlier and he assured her he was going for a training and will be seeing her later that evening at a Chinese restaurant.
She and her friends agreed to hang out at Conference Hotel, little did she know that she was walking into her own surprise engagement. They arrived and ordered food which Dami ate without suspecting a thing. She was eating when she started hearing trumpet and as a music lover, she started to dance. That was when she saw a cake with her name and then she saw Paul who had told her that he was on his way to an interview. He went down on one knee and proposed to his beloved.
The Wedding.
The couples had their engagement party, traditional and white wedding on the 14th of May 2022. The engagement/traditional marriage and reception were held at New Era Event Center, Ijebu Ode while the church wedding was held at Christ Apostolic Church also in Ijebu Ode.
Dami loves Paul for so many reasons. He is her ‘go to’ person and he is always there for the people he cares about. He pushes her to be a better person and to do better spiritually, career-wise, financially and in other areas.
Everyone should have a Paul in their corner.
