The week started off on a quiet note for Yul Edochie and his family with so many Nigerians still fixated on Paul Okoye and his new girl friend.
But then, rumors soon started to spread that Judy Austin, the second wife of Yul Edochie was pregnant and there were arrangements made to move her into Yul and May Edochie’s (the first wife) family home.
While we held our breaths over these rumors, popular controversial blog slid into May Edochie’s dm to inquire about the state of her marriage.
May Edochie revealed that none of it was her problem anymore and hinted at the possibility of a shocking detail coming out soon.
While we were left wondering if this shocking detail would have a correlation to the current rumors swirling, Yul Edochie decided to end the year with a bang and an apology.
On the 21st of December, 2022, Yul Edochie took to his IG page to post a stunning picture of May while apologizing profusely to her for engaging in polygamy and trying to force it on her.
Below is the apology;
“I take the blame for my actions. I agree with you that polygamy shouldn’t be forced on anyone. You never bargained for it from the beginning neither did I. But I guess life happens. You already know the whole story.
“I didn’t do it to disrespect you. I didn’t do it to replace you, nor because I do not love you anymore, no. I have always loved you and always will.
“I’ve been a good husband and a wonderful father. I’ve supported all your hustle from day one. I have been an exceptional father to our children to date, making sure they lack nothing and always there for everyone.
“Out of 100, I have done 99 things right. Hating me because of one thing isn’t the best. Nobody is perfect. I’m not. You’re not. Nobody is, except God.
“I assure you that nobody is trying to take your place. I have apologised to you countless times sincerely from my heart.
“I’m sorry. I’ve always loved you and always will. Butuo nwanyi oma. We can live peacefully and happily.”
Recall that after he announced his second marriage to Judy, May clearly stated that her belief do not allow for polygamy.”
To further prove that he was willing to work on being a better husband to her, he wiped off all traces of Judy Austin’s pictures from his instagram account.
May on the other hand, has not responded to any of the drama and has continued to post ads for brands that she’s influencing.
It seems the beautiful mother of 3 is all about raking in her cash right now.
As exhausting as this polygamy drama has been, Nigerians are still very invested in it and have even taken to Judy Austin’s page to call her out and insult her for breaking a home.
In response to people telling her to leave her marriage with Yul Edochie, Judy Austin took to her instagram to post a video of her jamming to Beyoncé’s brown skin girl with a suspicious caption.
She references her marriage to Yul Edochie in the caption.
It reads;
“Her excellency, Judy Austin Yul-Edochie
This Christmas is already looking too sleek. Loving the cold weather.
I hope y’all are catching fun”
This singular act has generated a lot of negative comments form Nigerians, with some even beginning to empathize with Yul Edochie and his current dilemma.
Whew! It has been definitely been a wild ride for the Edochie family this year.
