Serena Williams And Alexis Ohanian Are Expecting A Second Baby

During a livestream interview with La La Anthony at the Met Gala on Monday, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian announced that they were expecting another child.

Williams later confirmed the news in an Instagram post, captioning a photo of herself, Ohanian, and Anna Wintour, who had invited them to the event.

Williams had previously announced her intention to retire from tennis in August so she could focus on her business interests and expanding her family.

The couple already has a 5-year-old daughter, Olympia, and they were all smiles as they shared the news with Anthony. Karlie Kloss also announced her pregnancy at the event. Williams wore a flapper-inspired Gucci outfit to the Met Gala, which had a Karl Lagerfeld theme.

Last year, the invitation-only event raised $17.4 million for the Costume Institute at the museum. The price of attendance went up this year to $300,000 for a table and $50,000 for a single ticket.
