Polygamy Has Elevated My Wives; Yul Edochie Sheds More Light On His Recent Marriage

 Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie popularly known as Yul Edochie is a Nigerian actor, known for his unique voice and personality. He is the son of famous Nollywood actor Pete Edochie and hails from Anambra State.

He got married to his wife May Edochue when he was just 22 and they have 4 beautiful kids together.

In April he also announced his marriage to Judy a nollywood actress invariably setting up himself and his wife, May for polygamy. Yul and his new wife Judy also share  a little baby boy together.

Yul hs been constantly in the news in the past few weeks due to his recent dabbling with polygamy and he has earlier come on instagram to clear the air about his marriage to both women.

However, On Thursday, 9th of June 2021, he took to instagram again to shed even more light on the marriage dynamic that existed between the three of them.

In the long instagram post, he attributed himself to being a man after God’s heart, comparing himself and his ways  to King David in the Bible.

He  also went on to say that his polygamy situation has brought  him blessings and has also elevated his  wives and helped them get more recognition and even more deals.

In his own words

“God works in mysterious ways. Marrying a second wife has brought me blessings and also elevated my two lovely wives.

“Sometimes it takes the things we see as disappointments to happen for elevation to come. It happened many times in the bible, just like the case of Joseph.

“I’m a man after God’s heart. I’m like King David in the bible. I communicate with my God and He guides me everyday.

“I wronged my wife May from the way I went about it, and I have apologised to her sincerely from the bottom of my heart, but in the eyes of God things are different.”

On how his polygamy has elevated his wives he went on to spill

“My wife, May, just signed her first endorsement deal. Something that never happened all these years. And this came from what many saw as a disappointment.

I have realised that God’s ways are different. Many more deals will still come to her because she’s a wonderful person.

“So is my wife Judy. She has also been elevated. Now widely known, her career is bigger with a whole lot going for her as well.

“Let me not even talk about myself. My stardom has tripled. My name is being mentioned in places it never got to before. My children are blessed.”

This will not be the first time he would be addressing his polygamy.

This post is coming barely a week after he made a video addressing his situation.

Since making this lengthy post, he has been met with a lot of distasteful comments from Nigerians who are completely against polygamy.

This is a controversial period for Yul and His family and he rather seems to be indulging it.

While some Nigerians might not like his approach to the situation, we have to respect the fact that he is able to take responsibility for his actions and not cower or hide unlike a lot of Nigerian celebrities.

He was able to stand up to the task of not only claiming his son but also taken care of him.
