Ooni Of Ife Wants Another Bride 24 Hours After Getting A New One

Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, got married to his fourth wife, Mariam Anako on Tuesday the 6th of September, 2022.  According to several reports, the revered monarch has concluded that the Ooni of Ife will want to take another bride after barely 24 hours of welcoming his new bride into the palace. It was reported that he visited the family of his new wife-to-be, DR Elizabeth Opeoluwa Akinmuda in Magodo, Lagos State.

Ooni’s New Wife 

The Ooni of Ife new wife, Anako is an executive in an oil and gas firm. This is his fourth wife after his marriage with his third, Queen Naomi, ended in 2021. They were married for three years and they had a son together. 

On Tuesday, Ooni of Ife new wife was ushered into the palace after they performed some rites at the entrance. She was later led to meet her husband in the inner court and other visitors. Her relatives who came all the way from Ebira land in Kogi and Ilorin in Kwara were also present at the wedding to celebrate their daughter.
