I Kissed On My First Date. Am I Going For What I Want Or Am I Being Too Cheap?

The whole dating thing can be very confusing. If you decide to look into it, you might end up with a headache.

When it comes to kissing during a date or courting process, there are really no rules. It’s everybody and what they want and also what they feel is good for them. Some people kiss on first dates and some will not till they feel they are comfortable with you. It can even be extended to when you are dating or even till marriage. Whichever way, no one is going to write you off for doing your thing. Just apply wisdom. Dating is not for the weak.

Am I Going For What I Want?

Absolutely! People say it’s until you make a move, you won’t know how the person feels about you. You might have a date with someone and you feel like there’s a connection because he or she was being kind and sweet. You really had no idea that they are like that with everybody. If you make a move, you might know where you stand.

Is this a good idea? Maybe.

If it turns out right, you’ll have the best feeling. Like a light stomach ache. Your tummy begins to tighten and you want to explode because of the joy. That feeling when you know both of you feel the same about each other. You might have a loss of appetite but the foodies can’t relate.

If it doesn’t turn out right, well…at least you know how they feel about you. They just want to be friends, and that’s fine. The feeling is terrible. You might feel rejected but you’ll bounce back. Everybody cannot be attracted to you. You are beautiful with no flaws, you are not just for them. The symptoms are the same, light stomach ache and the rest, but instead, you want to explode with embarrassment.

Kissing on a date also doesn’t guarantee the person is interested in you. Apart from the basic etiquettes like knowing what to wear, don’t be rude, coming on time and the rest…there are really no rules to dating. As harsh as it may look, it doesn’t even signify that you will go on a second date. The person may ghost on you and you will never hear from them. What if they were giving you a farewell kiss? Goodbye for good.

Am I being cheap?

Lol! People are going to think whatever they want to think of you regardless of what you do and how much you comport yourself. No one should write you off for kissing on your first date. When it comes to kissing on a first date, it’s important to remember that it’s totally your decision. Trust your guts and go with your instinct.
