Four ways to choose the right life partner

There is no such thing as the perfect guy or the perfect girl that is why finding the right partner for you can feel like a whole lot of work. There are so many things a relationship entails which include attractiveness, trust, honesty, communication, intimacy e.t.c. Choosing the partner you will spend the rest of your life with isn’t hard because it’s impossible. It’s hard because we go about it the wrong way. We are all looking for that one person to complete us rather than working on ourselves first .

1. Attractiveness is  a key factor when choosing the right life partner. They don’t need to be perfect but you need to feel attracted to them if you want to build a long lasting relationship. Beauty, they say is in the eye of the beholder. Therefore everybody has what attracts them to their partner.

2. After finding the person you are attracted to, the next important step is to find out if you are compatible with that person. A lot of relationship and marriages has broken because they missed this step. Ask them questions, talk with them and see if you have that connection that will allow you two to build a relationship

3. Discuss your goals and aspiration. Don’t get me wrong here, you do not need to have the same goals with your partner but you need to see if your goals are compatible to avoid future issues. If you choose someone without knowing the direction they want to take in life then  your relationship could get destroyed

4. Be objective. Sometimes you need to think with your head and not your heart alone. Choosing to spend the rest of your life with that one person is a life changing decision so you need to think it through. The first wave of overflowing love  excitement will eventually fade outside when this happens would you still want to be with that person. So you need to be objective
