Aliko Dangote Has A Love Life Too

The richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote can also fall in love because as we know, love is not anyone’s mate. He has been previously married but no one is sure about his current marital status. 

You cannot talk about business without mentioning Dangote. He is an African Business mogul and is also among one of the richest men in the world and the richest black person. He is the CEO of the popular Dangote Group. 

Dangote’s current marital status is not known but we know he has had two wives and one rumoured wife.

Dangote And Hajiya Zainab 

His First wife is Hajiya Zainab. They got married in May 1977 when Dangote was just 20. The marriage was arranged by his parents and just like most arranged marriages, it was short-lived.  Their union birthed three girls. Mariya, Halima, Fatima. After their divorce, Zainab has been keeping a low profile until she was seen at the wedding of her Daughters, Halima and Fatima.

Dangote fell in love with the daughter of the former commissioner for women’s affairs and human services in Bauchi State. They got married and a few years later, they got separated sometime in 2017. Their union did not produce any children.

Dangote has been romantically linked with the ex-beauty queen and there are also rumours that they had married. She also used the acronym, AD on her Instagram handle and people believed it stood for Aliko Dangote. She was also seen flaunting Dangote’s private jet on Instagram making people believe that there was a very close relationship between them. 

In 2015, there was news about their break up and that was when a source spoke up and said they were never in a relationship in the first place. He called the news, ‘total falsehood’

Dangote at some point wanted to get married to his Daughter, Halima’s friend. Her name is Nafisat Yar’Adua, the daughter of the former president of Nigeria, Late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua. This was before the rumours of him and Sylvia Ndka surfaced.  It was reported that he proposed to her but she turned him down because she did not want to ruin the friendship she had with Halima.

Bea Lewis an African American Businesswoman and model. According to her, she dated Dangote and he broke her heart to 1000 pieces. On the 1st of January 2021, she took to her Twitter page to speak about being Dangote’s ex-girlfriend but someone had a different opinion about it This takes us to the second person,  

Dangote and Autumn Spikes 

Autumn Spikes believed that Bea had lied and she never dated Dangote as she posed to have. She said that she knew this information because she dated Dangote and he did not date anybody like Bea.

To prove her point, she went ahead to post pictures of her and Dangote. One of the pictures went viral because it showed the Billionaire’s butt.

There were a lot of memes and funny reactions to the post. People even joked that it was a good way to start the new year because ‘seeing a billionaire’s buttocks means money is coming’. Note, the quote was their joke. The statement is not true. 

Aliko Dangote did not take this likely and he sued her for defamation and a breach of the agreement. Dangote doesn’t have a biological son but he has an adopted son. His name is Abdulrahman Fasasi.
