In an Instagram story post, Tonto Dikeh advised fans to never give up on love based on other people’s mistakes and on how society has normalised breakups. She stated that people’s failed choices should not determine the ones they make. She added that they are so many successful love stories that should encourage people but the bad stories have been embraced more by people.
The controversial actress described love as a gift from one person to another and that love doesn’t hurt.
She said that anything that hurts isn’t love.
“Don’t let others’ poor choices determine your life/ beliefs. That we fail doesn’t mean we are failures. We learn from each mistake and we keep on the fire.
“Love is a beautiful thing. Love is so sweet and it’s truly a gift to one another, and love doesn’t hurt. If it does, that ain’t love. Don’t give up on love.”
Recall that Tonto had her episode of a failed marriage and break-up in 2017 and 2021. Her marriage which produced a son with Olakunle Churchill ended in 2017 after two years of marriage,
and her relationship with Prince Kpokpogiri ended in a very messy way in 2021.
