It can be really painful when someone you love unexpectedly rejects you. Especially when you are head over heels for that person and you can’t imagine your life without them. It can make you feel devastated and sometimes can lead to depression. No one likes to experience rejection because the pain is very difficult to endure.
Some people jilt their partner without putting into consideration how it will affect them. The good news is rejection can be avoided if you are very cautious and pay attention to some important issues in your relationship.
Here is a list of three ways to avoid being jilted in a relationship
1. Withdraw yourself from them once you notice they don’t reciprocate your love. Relationship takes the effort of two people in love to work. So, if you realize you are the only one doing the work, try to take a break from the relationship.
Never make the mistake of forcing things to work out. If you force someone to love you, they can suddenly reject you when you least expect it.
2. Do not be too clingy to your partner if you are not married to them, especially if you suspect the relationship will end soon. If you don’t make them the source of your happiness, they won’t be in a position to jilt you. Try to find out if the person you are dating is showing signs that they truly love you. If they are not, don’t sit around feeling bad about it. Try to maintain healthy communication with some of your admirers so that you won’t feel disappointed if your partner jilts you.
3. Before a relationship ends, you will observe some signs from your partner that shows that they might jilt you. Do not put your trust in such a partner because no one is perfect. Someone who is not serious about you can disappoint you at any time. So do not put your hope or confidence in them
