It is not all the time you have to say “sorry” to make up with your lover after an argument. There are other fun and effective things you can do to put a big smile on the face of your partner after a disagreement -no matter how nasty. Below are five tips just for you!
1. Sing a dedicated track
There is no telling what a piece of good music can do to the mood and emotion of a person with a frowny face. Honestly. An effective way to make up with your lover is by making a personal recording of a song you know they love so much.
Now, you and I know your voice is terrible. Like a frog in a pool of water. Lol. But that’s the fun of it. You don’t have to sound like Justin Bieber of Wiz kid. That croaky voice of yours is what’s perfect.
When I said make a dedicated track, you might be wondering, “will I have to hit the studio for real?” Hahaha! Look at you! There are tons of sing-along apps on your respective play stores. Just download one, sing, and record.
I recommend the app Sing Karaoke.
2. Throw bants
Because you two are love birds, it will often be easy for you to cancel out his/her frown by throwing jabs and bants at her. Banter never goes wrong, especially when crafted well. So, for instance, you can walk around where your lover is sits mopping. Speak about a day when one animal called (input his/her name) decided to sit alone all day… fill up the narrative with your creative juice. And watch how they battle with hiding their smiling face.
3. Do something silly
In addition to banters, doing something silly is a great tip too. So depending on your kind of person, you may want to crawl and honk around him/her. If that’s too basic, you may want to cluck like a chicken around the house, ensuring she sees and hears you, or do something more silly.
The goal of this is to make your lover see the silliness in you. Consequently, (s)he understands the needlessness of holding a grudge with you.
Test to see the magic.
See you in the next post.
