There are celebrities who love to talk about their relationship life and be open with it and then there are celebrities who keep everything about their personal life private.

Olamide defintely falls into the latter category. While most Artists  in Nigeria are eager to reveal who they’re dating or gush about their wives,  Olamide has managed to completely separate  his personal life from his music.

As a matter of fact, the only time Olamide is mostly ever in the news is when he is releasing a new music.

Who is Olamide?

Olamide Gbenga Adedeji is a Nigerian singer , rapper and songwriter. He is easily one of Africa’s  bigger music stars.

Some of his most notable songs include; first of all, voice of the street, stupid love, durusoke etc.

Olamide amd his first baby mama; Adebukunmi Aisha Suleiman

Olamide and Adebukunmi have reportedly been together since 2011. She was more than just a baby mama to him. They were already dating before Olamide became a global star and probably that is why they have the long lasting relationship that they have.

In 2015, after over 4  years of being together, the star and his girl welcomed a baby boy named Maximiliano Adedeji.

Olamide shared pictures of him and his son on his social media at the time and it was obvious to all that he was a completely doting father.

In 2018, 3 years after they welcomed their first son, the pair got engaged. Olamide proposed to Adebukunmi on her birthday and it also was the day for international women’s day. It was definitely an unforgettable  engagement for her. He took to his social media handles to share the good news that he was officialaly off the market and now tied to his long term boo for life.

In 2019, Olamide and his girlfriend also went on ahead to welcome a second baby boy and they named him Tunrepin Myles Adedeji.

This further cemented their relationship with each other. Even though they do not put out their private matters online, these significant happenings in the Artist life already established him as a man whose eye was already off the market.

Olamide’s relationship with Maria Okarende was quite a short one. It ended almost the moment it started.

As a matter of fact, reports claim that the moment she became pregnant with with his baby, their relationship fizzled out.

In 2018, a story about their rumored relationship and pregnancy rumors started making rounds on social media and at first people chalked it up to just mere speculations because at the time, it seemed like he was still in a commited relationship with his first baby Adebukunmi.

However, these speculations became a reality when Maria Okan, a beat  OAP welcomed her daughter in a undisclosed hospital in the US and her baby looked every bit like Olamide.

The story that came out later revealed that Maria had not been aware of Olamides present relationship with Adebukunmi. She had believed they were already broken up because that was  what Olamide had led her to believe.

It was also revealed that Olamide had wanted her to abort the pregnancy the moment he had found out she was pregnant and at first she had agreed.

She even collected money from him to get the job done. No doubt he was trying to protect his relationship with his first baby mama who was also pregnant at the same time.

However, when she got to the UK, she decided to keep the baby instead and this was when things started to go badly for the pair. It was this refusal that eventually broadened the gap in his relationship with Maria.

Maria Okanran went ahead to give her child a name putting her own surname at the end as opposed to Olamide’s surname.

In 2020, she started speaking about her relationship with Olamide and affirmed the original suspicions that he baby  belonged to Olamide.

She accused him of not taking care of his own daughter and completely ignoring her since her pregnancy.

The pair had some back and forth but eventually they were able to reconcile. Currently all seems  to be going well between the two as they are both co-parents to their daughter.

Olamide’s Current relationship status

Olamide proposed  to his first baby mama back in 2018, and even after the drama that might have ensued between him and his second baby mama, it seems things are still going very well for them.

As a matter of fact majority believe that him and Adebukunmi  have already tied the knot with each other. This comes after Olamide referred to her as his  senior wife and she also changed her last name on instagram to his surname.

While there are no wedding photos to confirm this, those actions prove that they might have taken things a a step further.

Olamide‘s children

Maximilian Boluwatife Adedeji

This is Olamides first child and son. He was born in January 20, 2015 to him and his first  wife Adebukunmi. He announced the arrival of his son back then through all his social media accounts.

Tunrepin Myles Adedeji

This is Olamide’s second child and second son and he was born on July 1, 2019.
Olamide and his first baby mama, Bukunmi also welcomed him 4 years after their first baby together in a hospital in the US.

Asaiah Monife Maria

This is Olamide’s third and currently last child. She is also his first girl. This baby came a mere 45 days later after the arrival of his second son.

Olamide – Controversy and cheating  rumors

Judging by the timeline  of the stories,  it  appears that Olamide was unfaithful to his girlfriend Adebukunmi because she got pregnant barely 2 months before he got another girl pregnant.

It also seemed like he might have been dishonest in his dealings with OAP personality and second baby mama Maria because she rebrand that she had no idea that he was still in a committed relationship with his his first baby mama.

Although 2019 might have a trying moment for Olamide, he is in a much better place at the moment in terms of his life, music and love life.

It has become a norm for celeberites to have baby mamas so we appreciate the few lucky ones who have still amazed to keep babies out of the equation when dealing with their females. We love that Olamide eventually took responsibility for his actions and took care of his baby girl even though he might have been initially spiteful.
