Moroccan socialite Laila aka Ned Nwoko’s wife took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday, September 3, 2022, to pen a deep emotional message to her rumored ex husband and family.
Her caption in the story reads,
“This is to my entire Ned Nwoko family. I have realised that I made mistakes that are not intentional. I listened too much to outsiders and I have decided to apologise to my husband and other members of the family. I want peace and progress in the family,” she wrote.
Laila’s message is coming out almost a year after she publicly announced her split from her billionaire husband Ned Nwoko.
Back in 2021, she took to her instagram to post this breakup message,
Hello, guys I want to say that no one has the right to talk about my marriage, please. Stop talking about people’s lives and I have divorced and already and nothing between him and me,” she wrote.
A few weeks after her public statement on her separation, Ned Nwoko also came on social media yo release a statement on the reason their marriage crashed.
He, however, began by dispelling the rumours that his marriage to Laila ended because of the influence of a local aphrodisiac called “Kayamata”, sold by one Hauwa Saidu Mohammed also known as Jaruma.
In his narration on what really ended things between him and the Moroccan beauty, he stated that things started to go south in their marriage after Laila went to London for a vacation with their kids.
During the trip, the mother of three allegedly abandoned her kids in the hotel and went clubbing, where she contracted the dreaded coronavirus.
She also got into trouble and fought with a man who is yet to be identified and it even involved the police being present.
That was not all. Ned also revealed that Laila went to the UK and had some cosmetic surgery done without asking him for an approval.
Nwoko said he decided to release a statement to clear the air because Laila has continued to play the victim.
He has since remained calm after releasing that statement.
