Who is Falz?

Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and actor. He was born on the 27th of October 1990. He is from an extensive law family and he’s also a lawyer but music won his heart. He is best known for his funny Yoruba accent and his music style.

This rapper has never really had any news about having a girlfriend, unlike regular celebrities. His private life is a priority to him and we are loving it. We can’t recall him being involved in any scandal, a king we stan.

He has only been rumoured to have a girlfriend and fianceé and most have been confirmed false. Meet the women Falz Allegedly dated in no particular order; 

Toke Makinwa

Falz has been rumoured to be dating the sensational media personality, Toke. It’s very easy to pair you up with someone you are working with especially if you are acting in intimate roles together. People thought the two were an item when they started the comedy series, ‘Therapy’. In the show they are newlyweds and they visit the therapist for Marriage tips and to share their problems. The therapist role was played by the Skit maker and comedian, Lasisi, so you can imagine how hilarious it was.

The couple played their part so well that indeed people thought they were together and those who knew they weren’t started to pair them up telling them they looked good together. None of them confirmed or denied that they were dating. They just let the public speculate what they wanted to.

DJ Cuppy

The internet was shaken when a picture of DJ Cuppy and Falz surfaced on the internet. Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola also known as DJ Cuppy is the daughter of the billionaire, Femi Otedola FO. Immediately the pictures hit, blogs and fans started calling them ‘the new it couple’ and they started to ship a romance between them. Since the pictures caused a stir, some bloggers brought back a video that DJ Cuppy had posted and Falz was staring at her. The two have never been confirmed or denied but nothing has been heard about them lately.

Chidinma

The singer who turned from secular music to gospel has also been rumoured to be dating Falz. This started after a picture Falz posted with the caption, ‘the actual babe’. This was when there was heavy speculation that Falz was in a relationship with the singer, Simi. People thought his post with Chidinma was a response to their thoughts about him and Simi. They believed the post was to silence people who thought he was with Simi and to show them his ‘actual girlfriend’. Oh well, it seems Falz is just pulling our legs anyhow because he never came out to confirm or deny this relationship. We were just left to think about whatever we wanted and rest eventually.

Grace Ajilore

The YouTuber was not forgotten. She has also been paired with Falz. Grace has been really secretive about who her baby daddy is so yes, when you are a public figure and you leave your things private (as they should be) people begin to make assumptions and this is where rumours begin. The two appeared on Ndani TV TGIF Show and the chemistry between them was epic! We definitely cannot deny that but it was based on platonic friendship. People started to speculate that Falz was the father of her child and that something was going on between them. It has been revealed that Falz is not the father of Grace’s child and there’s no evidence that the two were ever in a relationship.

Simi

We keep the best for the last. Who can remember the days of Simi and Falz? I bet we are all guilty of this one. I mean, the two led us astray.

Simi had confirmed it herself that they noticed that fans loved their music together so they made more to make more money. It was all about business and they were never in a relationship. They even created an Ep called Chemistry and people said that the picture used was their pre-wedding/engagement pictures.

 

 

All the rumours died when Simi finally told us the musician she has been dating for years and it turned out to be, Adekunle Gold who is now her husband now and they are blessed with a girl. Simi and Falz story was so deep that even after Simi confessed, people believed that Falz was heartbroken and needed to be checked on. Falz also played along by uploading the picture of a crying child on Twitter while his colleagues congratulated the singer. Falz and Simi used us to catch cruise.
