Can A Marriage Last Without Passion?

Some people might say passion is overrated, but, can a marriage really truly last without passion?

When people hear the word passion, they immediately think of hot movie scenes, sexy mills and boon novels or over dramatized telenovelas.

The truth is, passion or passionate love is not something unreal or dramatic. It’s not something silly that people just talk about.
It can be both meaningful and deep, and every relationship and marriage, should have passion as a major aspect of their Union

To be passionate about something simply means that you genuinely care about that thing, and you’re actually showing it. It’s the passion that does the actions of your feelings.

A marriage without passion might survive, but it will be a dull bland survival.

Passion is the one aspect of love that remains standing even when other things fade if the people involved are invested in keeping it alive.

Why Is Passion So Damn Important?

Passion is important because it is the aspect of a relationship that keeps the partners to keep seeing all of the great qualities they have.

When you love someone passionately, you find yourself longing for them so intensely. This keep the wheels of your relationship or marriage always rolling because you are always thinking about your partner.

passion fuels what is known as positivity bias. If there is passion in your marriage, you’re always willing to see the positive side of things. When you always see the positive aspect of things, you’re also able to act in a positive light.

These includes everything from little acts of thoughtfulness, like preparing a meal or cleaning up after one without your partner’s help so he or she is spared a bit of burden.

This also extends to much larger acts of devotion or sacrifice, such as a willingness to relocate homes or change careers to support the other half.

When passionate love does not exist or when it slowly fading away, you wi stop seeing the positive sides of things. Your focus will be more fixated on all the negative aspects of the relationship. You will be more test and irritated and this will lead to more fighting with little or no chances of making up.

 The marriage can gradually become just a partnership as opposed to a beautiful union because their is no passion left. There will be zero efforts from both parties left to invest in making the marriage work.

Eventually the marriage can come to an end.
