Bisola Aiyeola; Baby Daddy, BBN Love And Current Relationship Status

Bisola Aiyeola has not shied away from addressing relationship rumors, debunking or affirming them when possible.

From her controversial and very public relationship onscreen with fellow BBN star Thin Tall Tony (Edet Anthony Offiong) to her rumored relationship with Jeff Akoh, Bisola has definitely caught the media eye.

Who is Bisola Aiyeola?

Bisola is a Nigerian actress, singer and first runner of Big Brother Naija season 2.

She won the trail blazer award in 2018 at the Africa Movies Viewers Choice Award and has since continued to make a make a name for herself in the acting scene.

Bisola Aiyeola And baby daddy Malcolm Olanrewaju

Bisola met Malcolm back in her early 20s. They both developed immediate attraction for each other and began a serious relationship. It was so serious that they allegedly even got engaged.

However, news from the rumor mills reported that Malcolm had left her on the altar on the day of their wedding. She was also reportedly already pregnant with a child.

Malcom debunked the rumors, citing it as  baseless accusations made up by the media to generate some sort of traffic.

He chalked  up the reason for their break up to their very distinct personality traits.

That looked like a real reason to be honest. No matter how great a person might be, if their personality does not compelement yours, then they are  the wrong ones for you.

Bisola also came out to debunk the rumors that her ex Malcom abandoned her on alter. This was  a rumor that had no backing or supporting evidence and so eventually it waned off.

In 2009, at the age of just 23, Bisola gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Leyla.

Unfortunately in 2018 Malcolm, her baby daddy,  passed away after battling for some time with an undisclosed illness, leaving Bisola to raise her daughter alone.

Bisola and Jeff Akoh

Bisola went on Twitter back in 2017 to declare her love for young Nigerian singer Jeff Akon. According to her, age wasn’t a barrier in their supposed romantic relationship.

However, after some hours had passed after her tweet, she came out to deny having any  relationship with the young singer. She claimed it was done for publicity for the his new music.

Nigerians did not find it funny though because she was 31 at the time and 10 years his senior. It looked almost illegal for her to hint at a relationship especially comparing their age difference.

Jeff Akoh, On The other hand revealed that it was supposed to be a funny post and should not be taken too seriously.

In an interview with Sunday Scoop, he told them that there was no way he could have romantic connections with someone that much older than him.

In his words

“I was there when she made the post and it was funny. She made the post in the night and when I woke up the next morning, it was everywhere. But the truth is that she put her life on the line for me and I appreciate her for that.

“She just felt that way and put it on social media. She didn’t mean it and it is a free world where you can say whatever you want to say and do whatever you like.

People apparently took it seriously; everyone has his or her opinion about life. I am not bothered a bit about that.

The truth is she is not dating me; I am definitely too young for Bisola. She is more experienced than I am, so, we are not on the same pedestal. I can date someone older than me, but not by a 10-year difference,”

This further confirmed that they were never in a relationship and it was all done for publicity.

Bisola And Thin Tall Tony

Bisola met Thin Tall Tony whose real name is Edet Anthony Offiong in Big Brother’s House back in 2017 and they both developed a natural chemistry even indulging in occasional kisses.

However, completely unknown to Bisola, he had a wife waiting for him outside the walls of the big brother hiuse.

Thin Tall Tony who was evicted two weeks ago, claimed that he was going to tell Bisola the truth about his marriage, if he was still on the show one more week.

It was a complete shock to her when she found out that he was indeed married.

The actress and entertainer discovered this during Sunday’s finale, after she spotted Thin Tall Tony’s wedding band on his fourth finger.

While on the show, Thin Tall Tony denied that he was married and even had kids.

Bisola’s current Stance On Love

Even though the actress believes in love, she is currently  focused on her career. Since leaving the BBN house she has had her own share of admirers but at the moment she is more invested in  creating a successful income pathway  for herself and her family first.

In a chat with Toke Makinwa, on her latest episode of TokeMoments, Bisola also disclosed that what people know about  her love life  is exactly  what she decides to let them know about.

“There are times I have put out posts and I’m like you think you know me, but whatever you think you see that makes you think you know me, I’m allowing you to see it. You don’t know me. People should know that Instagram is Instagram, reality is reality”.

Speaking more on her current relationship status, she reveals that she was completely single but would be elated to share Mr right when she finds him with us.

In her words,

“No, no man yet. I decided to give myself peace of mind. I haven’t even been dating. It’s been a while. If I have the boyfriend, dear boyfriend, you will faint on my social media, I hope you don’t break up with me because of how I will be flaunting you”.

Bisola Aiyeloa, is  an incredibly talented woman and an even more incredible mother to her daughter. We understand her relationship plight because it can be difficult getting into relationships especially as an independent women.

A good lesson to take from Bisola’s  brief public relationships is how important it is to never settle.

While getting married and finding someone to share your life with is great, getting married to the right  person that complements you perfectly is the long term goal we all should be aiming for.
