BBN’S Mike And Perry Edwards Love Story

Mike and Perry Edwards are one of the cutest BBN couples and the best part about it, they were both already married before all of the BBN fame.

Mike Edwards is famous for being on the popular annual reality Tv show Big brother Naija. His authentic and hilarious personality caught the attention of a host of Nigerians and he was fortunate to make it as the first runner up for the 2019 BBN reality show.

While in the house, he was deliberate about keeping himself off sexual games or flirting with other female housemates. Despite his insane good looks and the amount of females who tried to get into a relationship with him while he was in the house, his loyalty game remained high.

His love for his wife was evident while he was in the house and it was very clear to all that he was a family oriented man.

This is how Mike Edwards Met His Wife

During an interview with NDANI TV, the couple revealed some intimate moments in their love story and talked about how they met.

Perri spilled on the interview that the first time she had met Mike she had been out with another person. They both had however been unable to stop staring at each other despite it. He had caught her attention immediately and Vice versa.

She also said that his humor had also attracted her to him a lot because on first meeting he had tried to imitate her Jamaican accented.

They dated for some years and got married in 2019 in Buckinghamshire, just a few months before Mike got into the Big brother house.

While Mike was in the house, Perri supported him and anchored several campaigns for him.

The couples have also revealed that they’re so similar that it seemed like fate had naturally brought them together. Perri is also an athlete just like her husband and has been to the Olympics.

For Perri Edwards, the reality tv space isn’t an entirely new one because previously she had been part of a British Tv series as one of the contestants.

She had to temporarily halt her life in the UK and move to Nigeria to be with Mike and explore the opportunities that Nigeria offer.

In an interview with Glam Africa Magazine, Perri revealed that being away from Mike for a while during his stay in the house was not that tough because her relationship with him previously had been distant on some occasions based on their professions.

She however, insisted that the key to making long distance relationship work is frequent communication. They both indulged in a lot of face times and messages together while apart.

When asked if she had any fears concerning her marriage with her husband going into the house, she explained that they had already had a long conversations about it. She further went on to say that she trusted him and wasn’t surprised at his loyalty, rather she felt a lot of pride at the golden things people had to say about him.

The couple back in 2020, made the announcement on Perry’s instagram account that they were about to have a baby. They revealed this through baby bump video of Perry and a picture with the caption

“I’m pleased to announce WE’RE HAVING A BABY. This is such a beautiful blessing. Me and Mike are excited and can’t wait to meet our offspring.”

They have both shared beautiful pictures and videos of their growing son on their respective instagram pages and an account which they opened just for him.

Their little family is picture perfect and what everyone should wish for and aspire to have.

Mike Edwards is a proof that loyal and respectable men still exist. He is not a man who is dazed by outside situations or interactions and he seems very focused on his family. His wife is also a huge supporter and they both complement each other well.
