Tolulope and Babatunde’s Classy Pre-Wedding Shoot is finally here. The couple will be walking down the aisle on Saturday, April 13, 2019!

Love Story

After waiting for love for a few years, Tolulope and Babatunde never thought love was right beside them until work led one of them away from the other. They attended the same church but were never friends. They were part of the large community of churchgoers that only exchange ‘hi 5’ when the pastor demanded it or better still, they merely walk past each other every Sunday just exchanging ‘Hi’.

Then, work took Babatunde to Niger, a state in the Northern part of Nigeria. He missed church and the only person he could turn to for updates on what is happening in his local assembly was Tolulope.

“That was how we started talking. He would ask for updates about services, then we will talk about other things”, this is how Tolulope recollects it.

Six weeks after his first travel, Babatunde returned to Lagos. One would think the love would spiral from this point but No, communication stopped again and went to what it used to be before he travelled. He had to travel again but this time, after two months before they started talking again. It was strange but such is the story of love. Love finds us in strange places and in strange ways.

By the end of year 2017, Tolulope had to define the relationship because according to her “I was getting emotionally attached already”

We don’t blame Babatunde. He is a Christian brother who believes in doing things by the leading of God. He had to pray and be sure she was the one despite the love that had already consumed his heart. At first, he wasn’t sure and they stopped talking again but come February 4th 2018, Babatunde finally broke the table and made his intention known.

In Tolulope’s words, “I was too sure he was the one after 2weeks. The rest as they say is history”.

Tolulope Ojo and Babatunde Ajayi will be walking down the aisle on Saturday, April 13 in a cozy location in Lagos.
