Throwback to the Biggest Wedding in 2017 (BAAD2017)

Thursdays are for throwbacks and today we present to you the wedding that was in the lips of almost everyone in 2017. Just before I announce the love birds involved, here is a quick gist to why the wedding was the talk of the town.

‘The wedding party’, a 2016 Nigerian comedy-drama movie directed by Kemi Adetiba had two main lead characters, Adesua Etomi as Dunni and Banky W as Dozie. The movie was every shade of glamour, comedy and love as the two main characters got married in the movie. It was an actual wedding party. 2017 came and a Part 2 of the movie was premiered.

Same 2017, there was an actual real-life wedding between Adesua and Banky. Dreams come true they say but in this case, fictional dramas do come true as well. The wedding was mind-blowing, apart from the fact that these two are celebrities, the movie was an awesome trigger. The traditional wedding took place on Sunday, November 19, 2017 and the elegant white wedding took place on the 25th of November, 2017 in Cape Town, South Africa.

The couples on the 25th of November, 2020 celebrated their 3 years wedding anniversary and the love note they shared on Instagram was enough to make everyone love Love.
