That One Time DonJazzy Got Married

DonJazzy is basically Nigeria’s most famous long lasting bachelor.

Over the years, the media has lapped up any opportunity to remind the Marvins Manager that it is more than time to tie the knot with a partner.

He is in every sense of the world, Nigerians sweetheart and has maintained an unproblematic record thus far.

His love life has been an object of media curiosity with him neither confirming nor denying his relationship status.

He has made use of great sense of humor most times to evade questions about his love life, using his imaginary relationship with Rihanna as a major distracting tool for people.

However, in a shocking interview session with Ebuka a few months back, the music expert revealed shocking details about his love life.

He told Ebuka during his Black box interview that he had once been married to a UK-based model.

The was however shortlived because they parted ways two years later.

In the interview he also spoke about other factors like his new home, where he grew up in and a surprising secret that Daddy Showkey is actually related to him.

Wow!

Why didn’t Donjazzy’s marriage work?

He was brutally honest with explaining the reason why the marriage did not work.

He disclosed that he had made his music an integral part of his life, even placing it above his marriage.

“I loved love and I loved marriage. Michelle is soooo beautiful inside and outside with such a soft heart. But then me being so young and full of dreams I went and f**ked it up cos I was giving all my time to my Music. Music became priority instead of my family.”

“We got divorced when I was 22 and it hurt. I am still very much in love with my music and I wouldn’t want to marry another and f**k it up again. So I’m taking my time,” he wrote on his the Instagram post.

He explained that he was sharing all the intimate bits about his life because he did not want to skip huge parts of his life in a tell all interview with Ebuka.

DonJazzy has also been linked to some musical artist and even BBN ex housemates like Tiwa Savage and Erica.

Speculations about him and Tiwa being in a relationship was mostly during the era when she was still signed to his record label and so they had to spend a lot of time together working on the music.

Neither Tiwa or Don Jazzy have ever spoken about the rumors but we would like to believe this relationship claims are just rumors with no deep foundation.

Don Jazzy also revealed during a different  interview some months ago, that he finds it difficult to be faithful to one person.

In his words

“I don’t believe I’m strong enough to be with just one person. Yes, I think people will run away from me for being truthful.

“I cannot be dating you and tell you that you are the only one am dating”

While we appreciate his honesty, we can’t help but wonder if he can ever really get married to someone on a long term basis especially with his stance on marriage.
