The Nigerian Lebanese Model and actress, Sophie Alakija is a beautiful mother of two. All because of her figure and beauty, it is impossible that she is a mother. Who is Sophie Alakija?

Sophie Rammal Alakija is a Nigerian Lebanese actress. She was born on the 8th of february 1985. She recently featured in the Netflix movie, My Village People alongside Bovi. She is a single mother of two. 

Before Sophie got married to Wale Alakija, she was romantically linked with the king of Afrobeats, Wizkid.

The first time Sophie came on screen and became popular was for Wizkid’s breakout song, Holla At Your Boy. She appeared as a video vixen and since then, she has been involved in modelling and acting.  The two dated before Wizkid started music and became famous. In 2011 when they were trying to gain ground in their career, they reportedly broke up. In an interview Wizkid had the same year, he confirmed that he and Sophie dated but it was a long time ago. 

He said that rumours about him leaving her because he was famous were untrue and that they just decided to move on, adding that they had already broken up before shooting Holla At Your Boy video. 

“No. That’s not true. We just decided to move on. We stopped dating before I shot the video. I invited her for the video and she obliged to do it. If I jilted her, she wouldn’t have accepted my offer in the first instance.“

It is proven that there is no bad blood between the two because Sophie still posted the singer on his birthday on the 16th of July, 2020, and said she will love him forever. 

After things didn’t work out with Wizkid, she moved to Wale Alakija.

Sophie and Wale Alakija got married in 2016 on the 27th of March. People didn’t hear about it until after the occasion because it was a quiet Islamic wedding.

Their union produced two children and their names are not known because she has not disclosed it. 

Their marriage was short-lived because it crashed after three years. According to the news, The husband tried to make amends but Sophie refused to go back. She also deleted all the pictures of him and their family from her Instagram page because she was known to flaunt her husband. The rumour was that Sophie left so she could live her ‘bad girl’ lifestyle as marriage locked her in a corner. She was accused of leaving her house the previous year before the story came out and it was also added that she left her children behind. Sophie is currently enjoying her new lifestyle as a single person. She has also not removed the Alakija surname from her name and people believe it is because of the power the name carries.
