Side Effects Of BBL

2 years agoon
While we are aware that getting a BBL these days it’s the trendy thing to do if you’re a female, there are also some side effects attached to getting one. These side effects should be known to you before you decide to embark on getting one.
They Include;
Pain
Feeling intense pains after any surgucal procedure is very common and a BBL is not an exemption. After the operation, you will certainly feel very intense pain for long hours and you might even find yourself having regrets and feeling very frustrated.
These pains are usually very heightened in the first few days after a surgery. As the passes, the pain reduces and becomes more manageable.
There are some pain medications that you can take that will help you feel better.
Swelling
After any surgical procedure, it’s very common for there to be some swelling. A BbL isn’t any different. The swelling is usually situated close to the abdominal region and it is also close to the buttock area. The majority of this swelling will last for about 14 days after which there will be just a little which will eventually fade comepletely after another additional 14 days. It is also normal for some swelling to last for much longer, in time it will all fade.
To help you with the swelling as well as improve the appearance of your BBL, you can wear some compression material consistently till you are completely healed.
Injury
Getting some bruises after your procedure is very normal. This will also cause some swelling. Your injury will be obvious for about 2 weeks and then you will be left with some discoloration which will also fade in time.
If it doesn’t, there are some over the counter creams that you can use to fade it.
A great way to reduce bruising after surgery is to be more active instead of laying around all day. This will help increase blood circulation and will help you heal much better and faster.
Paralysis
Sometimes, some intense pain could lead to temporary paralysis after surgery. This can also be as a result of numbness which may be near the area of the surgical procedure.
This is natural as some nerve tissue may have been affected by the surgery. Thankfully this numbness will pass after a few weeks. Proper rest and a problem-free recovery helps with these side effects as well as your overall recovery experience.
Rough skin
There are so many stories of botched bbl. Sometimes, your outcome might be something far from what you originally wanted. After the BbL surgery, some bumps and roughness can be present. This can be found in the area of the procedure which is the butt and stomach area if a liposuction occurred. However, in time it does resolve on its own but there are some cases where it does not and you are forced to live with or go back for another surgery.
Scarring
Scarring is a possible outcome after any surgical procedure. Even a very tiny incision can lead to a permanent scar. For a BbL, the possibility of scarring is even more heightened. This is because the incisions made are usually a lot and that increases the chances of scarring.
Most times though, these scars are not very easy to detect, allowing patients to wear various tops, undergarments, and bathing suits without self-consciousness. As time goes on, those scars keep fading and they become quite difficult to see.
