Ramsey Nouah; The Quiet Family Man

Ramsey Nouah is definitely the Nollywood family man. He is known to have a quiet and private life outside his movies. Unlike some Nollywood actors who people know the in and out of their family’s business, Ramsey Nouah has such a quiet life.

Ramsey Nouah is Married to Emelia Philip-Nouah. They have been married for almost two-decade and their marriage has produced three children, a daughter and two sons.

Ramsey Nouah Lovelife

Ramsey Nouah describes Emelia as his best companion. The duo got married in 2002. Their life is so private so nothing much has been said about them. Their wedding was a low-key event and pictures of the wedding were not posted in the media.

Unlike other actors’ wives who enjoy the spotlight, Ramsey’s wife is the complete opposite as she doesn’t even have a Twitter or Instagram account. In 2019, Ramsey had an interview with Premium Times and he answered some questions about his wife. In the interview, Ramsey gave us reasons why his marriage has lasted. He said;

“The success of a marriage lies on the woman but these days women are fighting for equality do they want 50% of what they give in the marriage.”

According to him, it has led to so many breakdowns In marriages. He added that it is his wife who has been holding the marriage and has made it strong. He said that his wife is the driver of the family and that her words have the final say. He called her a ‘triple woman’ and he said she owns the home. He also addressed why he and his wife do not attend red carpet events together.

He stated that they were trying to avoid the public eye because the same people who will criticize you for not coming with your wife will sit back and laugh at how you both look when you come with her. Ramsey said that sometimes his wife walks ahead of him in an event so that they won’t walk together. 

Recall that they were rumours that Ramsey hids his wife because she was not pretty. He debunked it in the interview stating that people only said so because his wife was not flash and she always wore her natural weaves and had her natural looks. He added that she knows that he loves her natural looks.

Ramsey Nouah and Emelia have three children. Quincy Nouah, Desiree Nouah and Camil Nouah.

Women Ramsey Nouah Has Been Linked With

Ramsey And Genevieve Nnaji

The two were rumoured to date because of how close they were and the roles they were given in their movies as lovers almost every time. They both denied the relationship and Ramsey Nouah regarded her as just. Colleague saying he had never thought of her in that way or had feelings for her.

“I have never had such feeling for her. We were just colleagues who wanted you people to feel the way you are feeling now. It tells you that we played our roles very well”.

Ramsey and Nadia Buari

Nadia admitted that she had a crush on the handsome actor. They were rumours that they had a fling. Nadia is also a colleague and they have had a series of movies together. The news of them being in a relationship was never clarified.

Olajoju Muse

She is best known for her role in the Nigerian series, Tinsel. She also admitted that she had a huge crush on Ramsey Nouah and this sparked dating rumours.

“There are two of them; Ramsey Nouah and John Dumelo. I’m so in love with both of them. Their movies hit the right spot.”

Ramsey and his family are doing well but not much is known about their current state. We can say that they are happy. Ramsey made an appearance in the popular 2022 Nigerian Netflix movie, Blood Sisters. He played the role of Uncle B and was in the movie amongst other big Nollywood stars like Kate Henshaw, Nancy Isime and Ini Dinma Okojie.
