Omawumi and Tosin got married in 2015 but they had dated for even longer period. When he got married to her, she was already a baby mama for him.
The mother of two wedded her heartthrob, Tosin Yusuf, in a traditional ceremony at her hometown in Warri, Delta State.

Omawumi proudly identified as a single parent
Omawumi even reveals that before they got married, she had already identified herself as single parent for 4 whole years.
This was a revelation she made when she made an appearance on the popular television show “Your View”. The TV program which aired on Thursday focused on if it was morally right for women to have kids without getting married.
Omawumi was quick to give her own suggestion.
Her decision to be a baby mama was one she decided on her own.’She was also very surprised when her now husband decided to walk down the aisle with her after 4 years.
Till today, she is still baffled as to what really influenced his decision to want to tie the knot with her.
“I was a baby mama for four years before baba Kamila decided to marry me, I don’t know why, maybe he thought about it.
“I said I don’t want to marry until we are good and ready,” she said.
The artiste stressed on during the interview that women should be allowed to do what they want they do. Nobody has the right to ask a lady about her marital status or lack of even if she’s single parent.
