Nigerian Musician, portable whose real name is Habeeb Okikia has been disqualified from the Headies Award 2022z
The organizers of this annual music award show, Smooth Operations Limited revealed that their decision to exclude from the award was as a result of his consistent offenses shown through his social media accounts.
Let us Recall that back in May, Portable had promised to inflict harm on the other contenders if he did not win the award in which he was nominated for.
In another video that surfaced online in June, Portable is seen attacking another person physically.
Then, earlier this month, he also took to his social media account to reveal in a video that he is the founder of the notorious group in Lagos, One Million Boys”, a suspected cult group.
The organizers put out a statement to formally inform the public of their decisions and also reveal the reasons why.
“We shall not condone reckless and uncouth statements from artists and hereby disassociate ourselves from any individual linked to such assembly or activities linked to him as described
“The music industry demands all-round excellence. It is extremely important for young artists being potential role models to exude professional responsibility, proper decorum and have respect for others”.
Portable almost immediately reacted to his disqualification in a video where he was being caressed lovingly by his wife
He says,
“I am a child of light. I have fame, I have money, I have cars, I have wives, I have children. I am rich. People know me everywhere. I don’t regret my actions”,
