Selena Gomez has had quite the busy year. From  starring in the Hulu series “Only Murders In The Building” to her mental health campaigns and of course her global tour for  her all inclusive makeup brand “Rare beauty” the songstress has been on a constant move.

A contrast to Selena Gomez’s busy business life is her relationship life. Since her very public and devastating break up with Justin Bieber, she had not been linked to anyone and has even confirmed that she has been single.

However, In August 3, Gomez sparked rumors that she was dating a certain Italian film producer named Andrea Lervolino after they were spotted vacationing  in Italy together.

While it’s a bit unclear if the duo are in a romantic relationship, they both appeared rather cozy around each other, hence the swirling rumors that he was her new boyfriend .

This is not the first time that Selena has been romantically linked to Andrea Lervolino, back in 2019, he helped her celebrate her 27th birthday.

However, an insider close to the “Come and Get It” singer quickly shut down those rumors. 

Has  Selena Gomez Finally Found Love?

An insider has spilled that while she is open to finding love, she is also very focused on work at the moment.

“She is more open to love, but she is also very much focused on herself and her work right now. She’s in a very healthy place. She is feeling fantastic and very mentally, physically, and emotionally healthy.” That being said!!!!!! She and Andrea did spend quite a lot of time during her trip dancing, hugging, sharing forehead kisses, and looking generally enamored on their yacht, as one does when in Italy.

Selena and Andrea are nothing more than good friends and there’s no romance brewing between them whatsoever,”

“However, friends definitely wouldn’t mind seeing her date someone like Andrea because he’s really sweet, he’s handsome, smart, successful, in his early 30s, etc,” the insider added.

A different insider also revealed that,

“Andrea is not exactly her type anyways and she really only thinks of him as a friend. She trusts him because of that friendship and that is why she likes hanging out with him,”

He is a good guy, but Selena wants it known that you can have friends that are of the opposite sex without it going somewhere else. She likes that she doesn’t have to worry about him blabbering about her to other people. She feels safe around him but she doesn’t have any romantic vibes or feelings for him,” the source continued. 

Maybe they are dating, maybe they’re not, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that the stunning singer will find genuine love if not now then in the near future.
