Can True Love Come Back?

If you have ever experienced the giddy feeling that is true love, then you know that no feeling in the world can quite compare to it.

It is a magical feeling and you can get lost in it very easily.

When you break up with someone who you genuinely thought was your true love and who you were so sure you were end game with, it can be very heartbreaking.

It can even take a toll on one’s mental health and psychological well-being.

It’s normal to cry yourself to sleep while playing broken-hearted playlists.

It happens to the best of us, trust me.

When people lose the people who they termed as their “soulmates or “true loves” the age-old question that they often ask is “Can true love come back to me?”

I get it. You want to know if this love has gotten away from you forever, or if there is a chance that the universe will somehow align your paths to meet again.

Here’s what you should know about true love coming back.

It can come back to you. Yes, it is very possible. There is a level of connection you can achieve with a person that you both will keep seeking each other out even after a break-up.

Here’s an important thing you should know; just because true love comes back to you, doesn’t mean it will stay. If a love left you, it left for a reason. Those reasons don’t just magically disappear because it came back.

So, while there is a high possibility that your true love can come back to you, for you to make sure it does let leave you again, there has to be a lot of work, effort and compromise.

You and your partner have to put in the work.

Love is really not enough to make a relationship work.

If you broke up with your partner who you thought was your true love because of some rigid ideals like family, religion and politics then it’s best that those ideas are this rightly sorted.

Or else, your true love coming back to you will only make you unhappy and eventually part you from it again.

Here’s what you don’t know about true love.

True love isn’t so far-fetched. I, personally believe that true love isn’t something you can only find in one person. I believe your soul mate can be found in more than one person.

Just because someone you thought was real true love isn’t in your life again, does not mean that it will not come back to you.

True love can return back to you in a different face and a different way.

This experience after all isn’t about an individual but about a love that is real and wholesome and forgiving.

And yes! You can experience that love with someone else.

You can even experience it if you’re lucky enough multiple times.

This is how it can come back to you

1. Compromise with your partner.

If you truly believe a person is your one true love, then you need to work for it. Be very deliberate about it. You need to reach out to them and be ready to offer them a compromise. You need to address important issues in the room that might come later in the relationship.

2. Open your heart again

If you believe that you have truly lost your true love, and you’re feeling sad about it, well, I have  good news for you. You can find another one.

It’s very possible to find more than one soul mate contrary to what we all believe in.

It’s okay to be scared shitless after being burned or hurt in love, but, if you’re still ready to try for love again, then, you have to be vulnerable. Allow yourself feel it, allow yourself to be loved.

3. Don’t actively search for it

Stop searching for it. Allow it to find you. Let it come to you. Sometimes, when you’re too busy searching for things, it’s easy to miss out on things that are right in front of us. It is also easy for us to plunge deep into things that are not right for us.

Take your time with it, don’t rush. If you’re communicating your prayers to the universe constantly, it will find you and when it comes it will be worth it.

It is a magical feeling to experience no doubt. But,  there’s no reason for you to feel hopeless when your he or she leaves.

I want you to know that even if a true love that was meant to stay leave you, it is very possible for you to find love that is pure and true again. Do not give up on hope on finding one again.
