The 11 times  Grammy winner has been very expressive about her relationships, belting out lyrics with deep meaning in her songs. She is one of America’s most talked about music stars thanks to her not so private love life.

Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas

Joe Jonas was one of Taylor swift’s first relationship that gained public scrutiny. They both dated for some months and seemed to have the teenage love relationship on lock until they broke up reportedly over a phone call.

She expressed her feelings concerning her relationship with him and their break up in her songs “Forever and always” as well as “Last kiss”.

Joe also spoke on his relationship with Taylor addressing rumors that he had dumped her in a callous way. He revealed that he had never cheated on her despite claims on her songs that he had. In his words

“It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed.”

He also went on to say he was unhappy that people would think that he was capable of hurting someone in such a manner.

Taylor Swift and Lucas Till

Taylor and Lucas sparked some relationship rumors when Lucas starred in her music video for her top charting love song “You belong with me”.

However, their relationship ended before it even began. Reports later came out that their relationship did not work because things were too good between them. They had no arguments or issues and they both were really “nice” towards each other. It had seemed more like a friendship than a romantic relationship. It was completely devoid of passion. Their separation was an amicable one and they both still think highly of each other.

In the poplular Valentine’s Day movie, Taylor swift and twilight star Taylor Lautner both played each other’s romantic interest.

Well…after the movie shooting needed,  as is usual with most Hollywood actors, they both started dating in real life.

Their relationship was popular not just because they were both super stars but because they both had similar first names and so they soon earned themselves a nickname in the industry “Taylorsquared”

However , they broke up soon after becasue they just were not feeling it. They had realized that their relationship was heading nowhere.

It was reported that it was Taylor swift who broke things off with Taylor Lautner and in her song “Back to December” her lyrics showed her feeling bad about  how things had ended between both of them.

John Mayer featured Taylor swift in his song “Half of my heart” and during their time together recording the song, a relationship sprouted.
But once again, her relationship with this singer was a very short lived one and it seemed things did not end very well between them.

This was made even more obvious when Taylor released her new single “Dear John” which contained lyrics that showed that she had been manipulated by John.

John expressed his unhappiness on the picture Taylor had painted of him in her song. He called it an undeserved accusation and that was it was a very “lousy thing” for her to have done knowing him.

This wouldn’t be the first ex of Taylor swift who would disagree with her portrayal of them.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift  relationship was a low key one at first until Jake went all out to prove his love for the songstress when they went on an private jet date. However,on New Year’s eve, it was reported that Taylor and Jake had broken up with each other.

Taylor swift and Connor Kennedy sparked relationship rumors for the first time when they were both spotted having lunch together at a Pizza spot in New York. 

They were also spotted indulging in other fun couple activities together even sharing occasional smooches with each other. It was a summer romance and like all romances begin beautifully they also end shortly. Taylor and Conor went their separate ways soon after rumors came out that Conor’s family were not very happy with Taylor and their relationship.

This is probably one of Taylor’s most talked about relationships. And here’s the most surprising thing of all, it did not last for more than a month. It might have ended before it even began but Taylor swift released a whole album based on her relationship with him.

They relationship was said to have been filled with so much high and low emotions and boy! Taylor came fiercely for Harry styles in a lot of her songs. We know for certain that one of her most notable songs “I knew you were trouble” was meant for Harry styles.

Taylor and the “This is what you came for” song writer and DJ met for the first time through their friend  Ellie Goulding back in 2015.  They dated and lasted longer than Taylor’s other previous relationship. Their relationship lasted for slightly over a year before they both called it quits with each other. Even during their breakup, Calvin had a lot of sweet words to say about her referring to her as an amazing woman.

Taylor got into a relationship with Tom Hiddleston 2 weeks after her breakup,  leaving Calvin Harris confused and  heartbroken. It seemed  too quick for a person to move on after a one year long relationship. So, if we are we being honest, we completely get Calvin’s hurt.

Rumors of Taylor swift and Tom Hiddleston being in a relationship first started after they both seen together in the 2016 Met Gala dancing together.

They both dated but broke up pretty soon. According to sources, Tom had wanted more publicity from her in terms of their relationship which she wasn’t giving. People also speculated that Tom could have been her rebound after her breakup from Calvin.

We found out about Taylor and Joe’s relationship back in May of 2017 but it was revealed that it has been on for months way before the world even found out about it.

They kept their relationship life really private, no doubt Taylor was trying to keep her relationship out of the public eye after being criticized for it over the years.

She acknowledged him during her Grammy acceptance speech and also mentioned that she got closer to him during quarantine.

Since 2017 till date, the pair have had no controversies. This is definitely Taylor’s most long lasting relationship, stretching to 6 years now. Wow! Who would have thought the talented singer would one day be in a long term relationship?
