The Lady That Can’t Stay Away From Her Exes

Good day, beautiful people, yes, Wonder thinks you’re beautiful if you’re reading this. Last week, I told you about a lady who kept getting back with her exes and was told by a friend that it might be a generational curse and that got her worried, I hope the article I wrote on that helped clear things up. Anyway, this is her story in my words.

It all started at NYSC camp, Tayo came here with thoughts of having ‘a good time’, but Wale planned to show her ‘a better time’, they were both attractive people, after the courting which didn’t really last long because they were both already feeling each other. They started a relationship together and even got a place together for the duration of the camp, and it was all rainbows and sunshine all through the three weeks they spent there until it was time to go.

Without clearly defining the relationship but also not stating that they were broken up, communication began to die down and then whenever they saw each other again, the vibe was good but eventually, she tired of that and broke up with Wale.

After service, she started working in a University where she met Emmanuel. He promised heaven and earth because she was older and supposedly, he really liked her, of course, persistence sometimes helps when chasing a woman and Tayo said yes eventually only for Emmanuel to start switching up after she said yes then they broke up.

After this period, Tayo was getting attention from Obinna, a guy that the strategy of persistence didn’t work for because Tayo was playing hard to get. She, however, rebounded to Wale after her breakup with Emmanuel and this relationship didn’t last long either.

The second breakup with Wale put Tayo in a phase where she was uninterested in anyone or anything, during this time, she just moved from work to home. She met Emmanuel again after this period and was seriously considering getting back together with him, they hooked up, but she didn’t get back together with him because she told a friend from NYSC about the matter going on and he was the one who pointed out that it might be a generational curse (Nigerians who believe say na scopes, say ‘yimu’).

She later heard that Obinna had gotten a girlfriend and this made her even more devastated which led her to consider getting back with Emmanuel once again because she didn’t want to be alone, loneliness is never a reason to go into a relationship or get back with an ex.

I don’t get the ‘playing hard to get’ bit when you like someone, but it’s not my story, so that’s the story that inspired the post last week, link to that is below:
