To put it simply, here are four rules of happiness you should know.

To be happy, you MUST be selfless in your relationship. By professing that you love your partner, you need to substantiate your words with actions that affirm your stance. Be selfless in how you love your lover. Be selfless in how you care and pamper his or her. Make sure that their happiness is your utmost concern. Show gratitude. There is no telling how much joy returns to a person who shows sincere appreciation. Like showing love, your partner feels appreciated by your show of gratitude.
