Neo And Vee: A Love Story Gone Sour

Vee and Neo won the hearts of many Nigerians after falling in love in the “Lock down” Edition of the BBN show.

 From their loved up pictures and videos to their playful banters on instagram and twitter, the couple had a lot of people screaming “God when?”.

It was a relationship people were naturally invested in, so it came as a shock to all, when rumors of their breakup started gaining media frenzy.

The pair eventually unfollowed each other in January of 2022, confirming that they were indeed over.

What could have gone wrong to this seemingly perfect relationship?

Who is Veeiye?

Victoria Adeyele popularly known as “Vee” is a former reality tv star, a Tv presenter, a musician and a model. Vee is also popularly called the “Queen of flames” or “Medesa”.

She gained prominence and popularity thanks to the BBN season 5 edition show.

She was a BBN contestant known for her intelligence, sharp comebacks and consistently funny faces throughout the show.

Her bluntly personality and “I don’t care” attitude made her a controversial character and she acquired a lot of enemies and gained a lot of fans too.

Early Years

Vee grew up in Lagos and comes from a family of 7.

Her mother  moved to the UK alone when she heavily pregnant so many years back, and was later joined by her husband, 4 years after staying alone.

In 2019, Vee decided to move back to Lagos to realize her dreams and ambitions of becoming an Artist.

Career

Vee was one of the top 5 contestants out of over 20 people who made it to the finals to the amazement  of most Nigerians.

While in the house, she talked about her musical dreams, having already released some songs {a popular one called on and on} being replayed in the house during Saturday night parties.

Since leaving Big brother house, Vee has released an EP as well as a new song from her very recent album which she’s currently working. The new album is set to be released this year.

The talented songstress has proven to be quite the Artist with her single “Show” gaining over a million streams in just 1 month of its release.

She has also hosted multiple shows, the most popular being the “Trophyextraspecial” show. As usual, Vee completely kills it every time. Her eloquence, poise and mastery of public speaking is commendable.

Vee in an exclusive interview revealed that she is an emotional person and loves to live her life basing it solely on her own rules.

Now, for the part we’ve all been waiting for

Neo and Vee’s relationship;

The ex lovebirds met on the BBN show, back in 2019.

Vee approached Neo expressing her interest and attraction to him and the rest they say is history.

While in the house, they showed us the different sides of being in love and navigating a relationship. They were known for their constant bickering and then kissing and making up immediately after.

Their relationship was a fun watch and kept many Nigerians rooted on their couches, their gazes fixated on their tv screens.

Outside the house, the pair confirmed in numerous interviews that they were indeed together and were dating.

Vee in an interview even revealed that Neo is the man she would want to get married to. How sweet!

This pair gave us adorable moments while they dated and so it was surprising to Nigerians when they unfollowed each other.

Following wild frenzy from Nigerians to find out what really went wrong in their relationship, Vee eventually came online to clear the air and in her words

“Mind your f**king business. When I got home, are you here with me. Are you here with me? Do you shower with me? Do you sleep with me? I have never come on social media to announce my personal life and it is never going to happen now,.

So my advice is to mind your fucking business. If everybody minds their fucking business, everybody will be living smoothly. Now here you are disturbing yourself in my DMs.”

While there has been so many rumors concerning what led to their break up, none of them are are confirmed and are just mere speculations.

Vee finally confirmed the breakup officially after posting a hot sultry photo on Instagram a few months ago, with the caption

“Soft and single”.

This finally irrevocably told us that things had really ended between the two.

How can love go sour?
