It’s been a whole week since the high court in Abuja finally granted Paul Okoye and his wife, Anita Okoye a divorce.
During a live video, while talking about his present relationship with his new 22 year old girlfriend, Ivy Ifeoma, he revealed that he had been single for 4 years.
Let’s recall that in 2021, it came to the notice of the public that Anita Okoye had filed for a divorce from her husband and long term lover, Paul Okoye.
The divorce petition cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the seperation.
While a lot of people beloved that he just became newly single because of his recently finalized divorce, turns out he has been single for a longer time, according to him.
The one half of P-square, in an Instagram live session while in his apartment revealed that he liked to keep his business very personal and private, so people who naturally did not know what was going on would speculate.
In his life, he says,
“You know me, I always keep things to myself. I’ve kept it to myself that I’ve been single for four years, and I’ve been divorced for a long time. I don divorce sef before I found Ifeoma, so make una just calm down.”
During the course of the live, some of his life watchers asked him what his plans for his current girlfriend was. They also wanted to know if he had plans of ever marrying her.
The singer responded
“Until I send you IV first. I go send una IV, and her name is Ivy if you know what I mean.”
Is there a possible wedding between these two? Well…we’ll have to wait and see!
