Is Kissing Allowed In A Relationship? Pastor Chris Answers Popular Question

One of the challenges of young Christians these days is that they have failed to find out the truth about certain things for themselves in the bible.

There’s nobody who lives by the word of God that will displease God. Sin is only possible outside the word of God.

A young guy asked Pastor Chris Oyakhilome whether a boy and a girl which are in a relationship can kiss, hug or hold each other.

One amazing thing about Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is that no matter the kind of question you throw at him, he will always have an answer for you. And all his answers are scripturally based. After Reading out the question he looked the crowd of youths he was speaking to and laughed. He asked them to open their Bible and search out the book of 1 Corinthians 7:4-5.

1Cor.7.4 – The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

1Cor.7.5 – Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

After quoting the above scripture, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome revealed that what the young people call love is not actually what it is. He proved to the congregation.

that kissing and hugging were never said to a way of showing love in the bible. He said that those who should have the right to touch your body in a relationship is your husband or wife.

“Young people these days need to get certain things right. According to the scriptures we just read, you will understand that those who God expects to have access to their bodies is husband and wife,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome revealed

Therefore there’s no place in the bible where boyfriends and their girlfriends are given the right to hug or kiss each other. Biblically, hugging and kissing are not signs of love. It’s actually meant for greeting.
