You can still forgive and let go of someone who hurt.

Forgiveness is a resolution for you, the people involved. This means that whatever decision you take after you forgive them, is valid.

You can forgive someone who broke your heart, or someone who left you when you needed them, or someone who was mean to you. That however does not mean that things can just get back to the way they used to be.

This Is How You Can Forgive And Let Go Of Someone Who Hurt You

First, you have to understand that you’re not obligated to anyone but yourself. You do not owe anyone anything. You do not even owe people your forgiveness, if you decide to forgive a person, it should be because you want to do it.

It should not be based on what they want.

This is also goes for when you decide to let them go. If you feel like the foundation built in the relationship has been broken beyond repair, you can forgive them but decide to not in that situation with them anymore.

Because you have forgiven people does not mean you should be in the space with them, or continue to engage with them especially if they have broken your trust over and over again.

This Is What Forgiveness Really Entails

Forgiving a person means that you are able to fully accept the bad things they’ve done to you, let all of it go reached a place of peace and calmness.

If you decide to put some distance between you and ur partner after forgiving them, it does not make you a spiteful or bad person. You removed yourself from a potentially toxic relationship or situation. That is not wrong at all.

Do not feel like you owe it to people who hurt you to continue to stay with them even after you’ve forgiven them. They might try to make you feel bad for wanting to walk away after forgiving them, but, it is your choice to make and you should think of what’s best to do for yourself.

Always Realize your worth.
