Who Is D’banj?

Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He rose to fame after he was signed to Mohit record by Don Jazzy which is now Mavins Record. The singer gave us the bad boy vibes as most of his songs were sexual and so e was nicknamed, Kokomaster. Just as he excels in his music career. He also excels as a family man as he is happily married and is the father of three children, two boys and a girl. Their first son died after drowning in their swimming pool in 2018. 

D’banj’s Marriage 

D’banj is happily married to Lineo Didi Kilgrow. They got married on the 2nd of June, 2016 in Maryland, Lagos..it was a secretive wedding and those that were in attendance were close friends and family members. The singer also took a long break from music to concentrate on his new family.  D’banj is one person that fans felt would have been a bad boy, but the singer has proved everyone wrong by staying faithful and staying away from baby daddy dramas like his colleagues and other celebrities in the entertainment industry. 

Although the singer has been rumoured to have had several girlfriends before settling down with Kilgrow, He has been private and calm after marriage.

The Ghanaian actress was said to have dated the Nigerian Musician between 2010 and 2011. The two have both denied ever being in a relationship. They were good friends because they were seen in public spaces together. He also added her name with the names of several female celebrities in his hit song, Oliver Twist. 

D’banj and Genevieve Nnaji 

D’banj never hid his feelings from Genevieve. He and the Nollywood ace actress were in a relationship for a long time. They had a long-term relationship and they went on and off. It was quite obvious that D’banj had a huge crush on Genevieve.

Jennifer is said to have the longest relationship with the ‘Fall in love’ crooner. They dated for over two years without going on and off. She is the daughter of the multi-millionaire, John Obayuwana.

The ex-beauty queen and D’banj are said to have dated before and parted ways but they got back together sometime between 2014 and 2015.

D’banj and His Children

The singer had his first child, Daniel Oyebanjo III in the United States sometime in May 2017. He Lost him on the 25th of June 2018 after he drowned in their pool at his house at Ikoyi. Both parents mourned their son but God answered their prayers by giving them another boy the following year on the 19th of September, 2019. They named him Zane. They had Zane after they relocated to the United States Of America. On the 1st of January 2021, God blessed the couple with a baby girl.
