Better Financial Manager between
a Man and a Woman in Relationship
Every
relationship has its own financial issue either the man being the driving force
or the woman. Most people believe men do not know how to save and keep account
of money that flows in and out. It is believed that they spend as soon as they
receive without keeping records of how they actually spent the money.
How true is this generalization? Who is really the better financial manager between a man and a woman?
I have heard a lot of couples having issues related to this, most times it is the woman that always wants to collect and keep spending without a prior budget.
Every
relationship differs in every way so that generalization of men spending more
that the woman or vice versa might not work in some relationship.
Some men prefer to invest and take risks in order to pave way for a bigger income while some women prefer to get the expensive hair, dress, heels and get all the material thing that appeals to them so do not judge the financial issue in other relationship with yours. That is where the place of knowing your partner comes in, find out if he/she is the one that prefers to save and budget and vice versa.
And
another strategy that can be employed is joint budget, know how much comes in
for each other, plan how many percent of your income is going into savings,
into household items, into charity etc. But let a higher percentage go into
saving so it can curb wasteful and unplanned budget.
Financial
issues will always come but learn to fight it off with wisdom.
Well, we cannot specifically leave it one-sided. I have heard some person say women are better money managers than men but that is a populace mindset. Both the man and woman in the relationship should explore and decide on what is best for them.
