Model, Fancy Acholonu who became popular because of her relationship with Alex Ekubo, has apologized to him for breaking things off with him back in 2021.
In 2021, barely few months after the Alex Ekubo announced his engagement to her, she called off their wedding to the surprise of their families, friends and even followers.
She also went on to reveal that the decision she took was for her best interest.
While she never really revealed what went down and what caused their separation, she did hint at being in the dark about some certain aspects of the Actor’s life.
While calling off the engagement back in 2021, she wrote,
“Hey guys, I am writing to inform you all officially that I have ended my relationship, engagement, and I have called off the wedding with Alexx Ekubo.
I am aware that this may be a shock to many people. I made the best decision for myself because it is important that everyone finds their happiness and lives in their truth. At this time my family and I ask for you all to please respect our privacy. Thank you so much!”
While they’ve both appeared to have moved on since judging from their instagram posts, we were surprised when Fancy Acholonu during the late hours of December 29, 2022 took to her Instagram page to publicly apologize to him.
She apologized for how she handled things and wish she had not been so reactive.
She accepted that she was too hasty in her decision to quickly call off the wedding and that now she now currently understands better how to handle situations.
She begged him to forgive her and stated that she still loved him and missed him a lot.

“Like our shirt says, Nothing makes sense when we’re apart @alexxekubo you still have my heart. I miss you, I love you, and I’m truly sorry for all the hurt & pain you and your family went through with our break-up.
“My actions in how I handled things were out of my character. I should have controlled my emotions and not been so overreactive. I said too much, I did too much. Please forgive me, I’ve learned my lesson on how to handle situations better.
“I haven’t expressed myself properly. I’m not afraid to be vulnerable and say you, your family, & friends still mean the world to me. Losing you has felt like grief. Love heals #FalexxForever .”
Alex Ekubo on the other hand is yet to respond to her apology or maybe he has, just not in public.
The last we checked he seemed to be enjoying himself at an event, based on his present instagram story uploads.
