 Pop icon Rihanna is everybody’s favorite girl. She has achieved milestones in the music industry, fashion world and makeup industry.

The pop star whose pregnancy journey made headlines regularly on top media blogs recently put to bed to a healthy baby boy.

Her relationships throughout her career has been under intense scrutiny thanks to her star power.

 

Early life

Robyn Rihanna Fenty also known as badgirlriri was born in February 20, 1988 at the  St. Michael parish, Barbados.

Rihanna grew up in Barbados with a Barbadian father and a Guyanese mother. As a child she loved and listened to a lot of Caribbean music and this would birth her love for music.

She started a girl group with two friends, and in 2004 Evan Rogers, an American record producer expressed interest in signing her in his record label.

She recorded a short snippet of her music which helped her gain the attention of rapper JayZ.

Professionally, she adopted the name Rihanna.

Rihanna’s Relationship Timeline

The stunner who recently had a baby with her current boo ASAP rocky has had quite a trail of  relationships. Her love life has been a subject of curiosity and puzzlement.

For good reasons too. I mean…it’s Rihanna!

Rihanna and Chris brown

The pair met at Circa for the first time in 2005. At the time, they were just newbies in the music industry. They started off as friend who has the same experiences and we’re experiencing stardom at such young ages.
Their paths will continue to cross after 2005.

They both had an undeniable attraction for each other and in 2008, it was revealed that they were in a relationship.

On her 21st birthday, Chris did a rendition of a love song for her and they ended it with a sweet meaningful kiss.

Soon after that confirmation  of their dating life, the pair were spotted on a private jet which would take them to Barbados, Rihanna’a native country.

They pair looked super loved up and happy during the whole trip.

They both were young, happy and in love. It was the perfect teen dream. Or at least that’s what it seemed like until a shocking incident that will permanently change the course of their personal lives and career happened.

In 2009, some days before the Grammy Award, they were supposed to perform on stage but could not make it.

A lot of people were confused and perplexed by the turn of events and that was when rumors started swirling.

It was revealed that Chris brutally beat Rihanna the night before. Chris had busted her busted lip, and left Rihanna with black eyes and multiple bruises.

This came as a shock to everyone. Report revealed that Rihanna was in an abusive cycle during the course of their relationship.

Chris was arrested soon after and pleaded guilty to all the charges against him. He was sentenced to 5 years of probation as well as community service and domestic violence.

Rihanna also filed for a restraining order against him.

The pair got back together 3 years later and tried to make it work a second time to the surface and shock of people. Rihanna referred to Chris brown as the love of her life. They broke almost immediately and finally parted ways.

Rihanna and Drake

In May 2014, Rihanna and Drake were seen in London holding hands sparking dating rumors.

They dropped they world wide hit single “work” back In 2016 and delivered a very hot and steamy performance further fueling the dating rumors once again.

During an interview however, Rihanna revealed that they were no longer friends.

In a 2018 interview with Vogue, Rihanna said: “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.” 

In October 2019, Rihanna was spotted at Drake’s 33rd birthday party.

Rihanna and Lewis hamilton

Rihanna and Lewis Hamilton sparked dating rumours in August 2015, when the singer spent time on a yacht in Barbados with the Formula One race car champ.

During the Grand Kadooment Day carnival she was spotted looking cozy and comfortable with him.

They both never addressed these rumors of a romance until the rumors faded.

Rihanna and Matt Kemp

Rihanna allegedly had an 11 month relationship with professional baseball player Matt Kemp f (January-December 2010)  after her very public breakup with Chris brown.

Kemp reportedly broke up with Rihanna because  her schedule soon became ‘too much’ for him to handle.

A source revealed to  US Weekly:

“He just can’t keep up with her crazy travel schedule. Matt’s sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. He wants something more normal.”

Rihanna also revealed in an interview how difficult it was for her to maintain relationships due to her tight and busy schedule.

 

Rihanna and Leonardo DiCaprio 

These pair spent Valentine’s Day weekend together back in 2015.

Close sources reveals that Leonardo is attracted to her and believes she is very hot.

It was also revealed that they weee both not looking for a relationship and were just having fun and playing the field a little.

The following year, they reunited at a Paris nightclub and also hung out together in Coachella.

 

Rihanna and Karin Benzema

Rihanna was the first person who made a move in this flirty situationship. She  reached out to the Soccer star back in 2014 and they started hanging out. In June of 2015, they were captured stepping out for an early breakfast.

 

Rihanna and Travis Scott

Rihanna and Travis Scott were romantically linked in 2015. Unfortunately, their romance quickly came to an end and was short-lived.

Dating rumours first emerged after the pair were seen hanging out together in 2015 at New York Fashion Week.

A source told E! Online: “Travis and Rihanna are dating, officially. It’s already very serious. He’s very into her.”

Other sources confirmed that it wasn’t as serious as it made out to be and that they were only just hooking up.

Their relationship ended shortly after.

Rihanna and Hassan Jameel

Rihanna and Hassan Jameel started dating each other in  2017.

Hassan Jameel is a  Saudi Arabian Billionaire and at first it was tricky working around their busy schedules.

Their personalities were opposite but complemented each other perfectly.

In a Vogue interview, Rihanna said: “Yeah, I’m dating. I’m actually in an exclusive relationship for quite some time, and it’s going really well, so I’m happy.”

In January 2020 however, the pair’s relationship came to an end.

 

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky

After her split from boyfriend Hassan Jameel, rumors of her and Asap Rocky started to swirl.

Rihanna and Asap Rocky have been good friends for the longest time having collaborated on some projects together.

ASAP has also mentioned his feelings for Rihanna on more than one occasion. He had been way into her before she even noticed him.

In December of 2020, the pair were spotted being intimate together and the reports that they were dating gained even more prominence.

Rocky was also spotted in Rihanna’s hometown Barbados where they both indulged in an exclusive Christmas Eve cruise.

Asap Rocky finally revealed in 2021 that he was indeed dating Rihanna and that she was the absolute love of his life.

The pair were spotted out on different dates together and in January 2022, after numerous speculations, Rihanna announced that she was expecting her first child with Asap Rocky.

She gave birth to a  baby boy on May 13th, 2022.

The couple are currently in their Los Angeles home settling into their new parent life.
