It would be impossible to talk about BBN couples without the  Bambam and Teddy A love story.

Oluwabamike popularly known as Bambam and Tope Badman Teddy popularly known as Teddy A,  kept viewers glued to the screen during the “double wahala” themed BBN show.

This is a love  story we all lapped up greedily.

The best part? We all  got to watch everything unfold.

How did they meet?

The pair met for the first time in 2018, during the first airing of the controversial BBN show “Double Wahala”. Their attraction to each other was not initial but rather, developed.

Bambam in an exclusive interview with Ebuka revealed how skeptical she felt at first about being in a relationship with him, especially considering the fact that he was  already in a 1 year relationship prior to coming to BBN.

The pair built a gradual friendship at first, them the sparks followed and eventually we watched their chemistry begin to unfold.

In the house, they were literally attached to each other and would spend most of their days cooped up in bed.

Even though their attraction to one another was completely undeniable, they both chalked it up to it being “just a game”.

Well…was it only just a game or was this real?

Bambam and Teddy A:  Life After Big Brother’s house.

In one of the most surprising twists in history of Big Brother Naija, we saw Ebuka Obi Uchendu, a former alumni of Big Brother Africa and the present host of Big Brother Nigeria evict Bambam during the live Saturday night party.

This surprise eviction left Teddy A completely heartbroken and we even saw him shed more than a few tears.

This heartbreak was a temporary one though, because, the next Sunday, during the live eviction show, Teddy A also got evicted.

They both granted numerous interviews outside the house neither confirming nor debunking their relationship status with so many Nigerians wildly speculating that they would not last long together.

They both eventually shared series of Instagram pictures confirming that they were still close and possibly dating.

They were also seen together during some public events, bringing on the PDA, cementing the fact that they were indeed still in love and in a relationship.

Rumors Of A Breakup

Rumors of their breakup soon began to make rounds in the media shortly after their indirect relationship  confirmation.

The reunion show which aired in 2019, had Bambam and Teddy A confirming that they never broke up and are still in a committed relationship.

When Ebuka asked them the secret to their long lasting public relationship despite the pressure from fans, Teddy A answered,

“As we spent time together, and she saw what was on the inside we have come to understand each other’s differences and respect them,”.

Bam also expressed her surprise at the fact that they were still both together owing to their different personalities but she also also attributed understanding eah others personality and willingness to make it work as a major key to their relationship’s success.

An Unexpected Engagement

On the 4th of August, 2019, after over Bambam and Teddy A announced their engagement on Instagram to the absolute delight of their fans and most Nigerians in general.

Bambam uploaded an instagram picture of an engagement ring on her finger.

Teddy also uploaded an engagement picture with the caption

“Bambam for life”.

The announcement was met with so much congratulatory messages.

They would be the first BBN couple to end up engaged to each other.

Pregnancy Rumors

A few weeks after their engagements, the media soon started hinting at a bun baking in the oven. Once again, the couples neither addressed nor debunked those rumors.

We however noticed that Bambam temporarily stopped posting full body pictures.

This only added fuel to the already existing rumors.

Wedding Bells

In September of 2019, the pair got married traditionally in a modest traditionally ceremony in Ogun State.

The bride looked absolutely ravishing while the groom looking very dapper rocking  striped ankara materials.

 

2 months after their traditional marriage, In a celebrity filled wedding party in Dubai, the pair did their white wedding.

 

They have been  married for over 2 years now and  have  2 kids together, a little girl called Zendeya Adenibuya and a little boy whose face is yet to be revealed.

4 years ago, they both walked into big brother’s house as complete strangers and today they are happily  married and have managed to create a little beautiful family.

Sometimes we can stumble upon love when we are not even looking for it and sometimes that is  the love we will only ever need.

Their love story is a testimony that love can be found anywhere and at anytime.

Take this as a sign not to cross any place off  just yet when it comes to  finding the right one.

You just can never tell; Maybe finding the right one is not the daunting task you think it is.
